DESCRIPTION: This softpaq consist of Compaq Integration Maintenance Utility 4.5 and 
             Bem.exe file.



Enhancements/Fixes: 
This softpaq includes the fix for the issue of deleting registry values while running CIMU. 
The registry values effected are LegalNoticeCaption and LegalNoticeText. Current registry 
values are now saved in a temp location and copied back to the original location after the 
utility has completed the installation. The fixes are included in the CIMU utility and 
Bem.exe file.


HOW TO USE:


1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Run the CIMU utility by running setup from the CIMU directory. 

3. After installing the CIMU utility copy Bem.exe from Bem dir to the Winnt\Sysytem32 
   directory.

4. For installation instructions, refer to README.TXT in the parent directory.

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.
