DESCRIPTION:

This Softpaq creates the OS/2 Support Software Diskettes
for Compaq Version 4.51 Rev A.

Enhancements/Fixes:

This release of OS/2 Support Software Diskette v4.51 Rev A,
supports the following new products:

Compaq ProLiant ML350 (1 GHz) Server.
Compaq RAID LC2 Controller.
Compaq Smart Array 5300 Controller.

NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:

This section details the new features and problems fixed
by the contents of the Compaq Support Software Diskette
v4.51 for OS/2.
 
1. OS/2 Compaq System Server Management Driver Updates  

OS/2 Compaq Server System Management Driver,CPQSMGT.SYS 
Version 2.21 has been enhanced to support Compaq ProLiant
ML350(1 GHz) Servers.

2. OS/2 Compaq Array Driver Updates  

OS/2 Compaq Array Driver,CPQARRAY.ADD Version 3.78 
has been enhanced to support Compaq RAID LC2 Controllers.

3. OS/2 Compaq SCU Updates

OS/2 Compaq Storage Configuration Utility, CPQSCU.EXE
Version 1.30 has been released for Hot Plug Slot support
for Compaq RAID LC2 Controllers. 

4. OS/2 Compaq ADAPTEC SCSI Driver Updates  

The Compaq ADAPTEC Driver, AICU160.ADD v10.2 has been
enhanced to support Event logging and CIM support on Compaq
Servers.

5. OS/2 Compaq CISS Driver Updates 

The Compaq CISS Driver, CPQCISS.ADD v1.00 supports Compaq
Smart Array 5300 Controllers. 

6. OS/2 Compaq SCSI Driver Updates  

OS/2 Compaq SCSI Driver,CPQ53CX.ADD Version 2.81 
has been updated to fix an incorrect detail in Resource Manager. 

7. OS/2 Compaq Health Driver Updates  

OS/2 Compaq Health Driver,CPQHLTH.SYS Version 3.62 
has been updated to have the correct version number.
 
8. OS/2 Compaq BIOS32 Driver Updates

OS/2 Compaq BIOS32 Driver, CPQB32.SYS Version 3.31
has been updated to fix an incorrect detail in Resource Manager.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your
   hard drive and change to that directory. The file that
   is downloaded is SP10541.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq
   file:
      SP10541 [ENTER]

   The following files should be created:

   QRST5.EXE
   217380US._01
   217380US._02
   217380US._03
   217380US._04
   217380US._05
   217380US._06
   SP10541.TXT

3. Obtain 6 formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

4. To create the diskettes, run QRST5 and follow the
   on-screen instructions.

5. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the
   downloaded file SP10541.EXE and the other files created
   on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Type VIEWME at the command prompt on the First Diskette
   for additional information.
