DESCRIPTION:

This Softpaq creates the OS/2 Support Software Diskettes
for Compaq Version 4.20 Rev A.

For complete information about changes and enhancements to
the OS/2 Support Software diskette, please see Whatsnew.htm
on the first diskette by typing

at the OS/2 prompt.

NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:

This section details the new features and problems fixed
by the contents of the Compaq Support Software Diskette
v4.20 for OS/2.
 
1   Compaq Drivers Support for OS/2
   
    OS/2 Compaq Drivers/Applications, have been made Year 2000 Compliant . 

2. Compaq Server System Management Driver for OS/2

   OS/2 Compaq Server System Management Driver,CPQSMGT.SYS Version 2.17 
   has been released with Bug Fix for Management Agent Support.

3  Compaq SCSI Driver Updates for OS/2 

   OS/2 Compaq SCSI Driver,CPQ53CX.ADD Version 2.77 has been released 
   with Bug fix for Agents Support. 


HOW TO USE:

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your
   hard drive and change to that directory. The file that
   is downloaded is SP10537.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq
   file:
      SP10537 [ENTER]

   The following files should be created:

   QRST5.EXE
   277096US._01
   277096US._02
   277096US._03
   277096US._04
   277096US._05
   SP10537.TXT

3. Obtain 5 formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

4. To create the diskettes, run QRST5 and follow the
   on-screen instructions.

5. After the diskettes are created, you may delete the
   downloaded file SP10537.EXE and the other files created
   on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Type VIEWME at the command prompt on the First Diskette
   for additional information.
