DESCRIPTION: Creates the two-diskette set, "Workstation Millennium
II/G200/G100 MMS Drivers for Windows NT 4.0J."
Enhancements/Fixes:
Display driver:
- The line drawing code has been modified for better performance (errorinit bit
support) with G200 boards.
- The memory sizes for DirectDraw are reported in bytes instead of pixels.
- Right clipping has been added in the multi-board text code for flat panel.
- A fix for the PixelVision code has been made.
- The overlay is now supported for flat panel.
- The clipper limit for AutoCAD has been removed in bCreateSurfaceRGB.
- The 2D bus mastering code has been reorganized.
- Bus mastering transfers now use RPL whenever possible.
Miniport driver:
- The miniport driver is now VGA-compatible.
- BIOS tables have been added for FlatPanel.
- For Productiva G100 MMS, the minimum amount of memory is read from the PINS.
- The PINS checksum for Quad G100 slave chips is modified to take into account
the modification to the serial number, and bValidateBiosPin verifies the
checksum.
- Fix monitor page in Japanese language (Far East release).
- Fix text scrolling problem in Japanese NT.
HOW TO USE:
1. Obtain 2 formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.
2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that
directory. The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename based
on the SoftPaq Number above.
3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the
on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to insert the formatted diskettes
in a drive to create the diskettes.
4. After the diskettes have been created, you may delete the SoftPaq file
downloaded in step 2.
5. To Install, see READMENT.TXT on the first diskette.
