SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:  Any ProLiant 4000 system with an optional 
memory expansion board installed.

SUPERSEDES:  Not applicable

DESCRIPTION:  When configuration is selected on Compaq Insight 
Manager, the screen will come up with no data in it.  Compaq Insight 
Manager may also hang when trying to get the configuration data 
screen.  This problem is due to the NT Insight Agent running on the 
server reporting bad configuration information to the Insight 
Management console.

HOW TO USE:  

1. After downloading SoftPaq, change to the download directory.
   For example:

      C:> CD \CPQ 

   If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an 
   executable:

      C:\CPQ> PKUNZIP SP1020

2. From that drive and directory, run the SoftPaq utility to unbind the
   primary files:
   
     C:\CPQ> SP1020 [ENTER]
     
   The following files should be created: 

     CPQHLTH.DLL
 
3. Perform the following steps on the monitored server, NOT on the 
    management console.

   1) Stop NT Insignt Management Agents via Services control panel 
       applet.

   2) Copy CPQHLTH.DLL, contained in Softpaq, to the following 
       directory:
          <drive>:%windir%\system32\cpqmgmt 

          where <drive>:%windir% is the Windows NT directory.

   3) Restart NT Insight Management Agents via Services control panel 
       applet.
