DESCRIPTION:
This utility will detect drives that are affected with a head
contamination issue in a system with a Compaq Fast SCSI-2 Controller
or Compaq Integrated Fast SCSI-2 Controller.  The utility will identify
the serial number and SCSI ID and return a message as to whether the
SCSI Drive should be replaced.

SUPERCEDES:

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2. If SoftPaq obtained on diskette, copy the SoftPaq file to a temporary
   directory on the hard drive and go to that directory:

     MD C:\SCSIUTIL
     COPY A:\SP0947.EXE C:\SCSIUTIL
     C:
     CD \SCSIUTIL

   If SoftPaq downloaded from BBS, go to the directory where downloaded
   to:
      C:
      CD \SCSIUTIL
      PKUNZIP SP0947.ZIP

3. From that drive and directory, run the SoftPaq utility to unbind the
   primary files.

   Type SP0947 (and press ENTER).

   The following files should be created:

     SCSIUTIL.EXE
     DC3053.SSN
     SP0947.DOC

4. Execute the SCSIUTIL

5. Follow the instruction on the screen.
