DESCRIPTION: The online SpeedPaq 144/P User's Guide has been revised to
include ETC configuration information which is helpful in setting up the
modem for data communications using a cellular phone.
(See SP0945 to download ETC Flash ROM Upgrade v.1.53 to your
SpeedPaq 144/P modem.)
HOW TO USE:
1. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.
2. If SoftPaq obtained on diskette, copy the SoftPaq file to a temporary
directory on the hard drive and go to that directory:
MD C:\CPQ
COPY A:\SP0877 C:\CPQ
C:
CD \CPQ
If SoftPaq downloaded from BBS, go to the directory where downloaded
to:
C: CD \CPQ
3. From that drive and directory, run the SoftPaq utility to unbind the
primary files.
SP0877.EXE then press the ENTER key
4. Return to Windows Program Manager, choose File, Run
5. Type C:\CPQ\setup
The SpeedPaq 144/P User's Guide (Revised Edition) will be loaded
automatically to your hard drive, and a SpeedPaq 144/P icon and
group box will be created.
6. Click on the SpeedPaq 144/P icon to access the User's Guide.
