HOW TO CREATE SSD 1.10 DISKETTES:

1. Obtain five (5) formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2. After downloading SoftPaq, change to the download directory.
   For example:

      C:> CD \CPQ

3. From that drive and directory, run the SoftPaq utility to unbind the
   primary files:

     C:\CPQ> SP0863 [ENTER]

The following files should be created:
     SSD110._01
     SSD110._02
     SSD110._03
     SSD110._04
     SSD110._05
     QRST.EXE
     README.TXT

4. Create the diskette images by running this command at the DOS prompt:

     QRST [ENTER]

5. The "Select Diskettes in this set" prompt appears. Choose the
highlighted, default selection "Do ALL of the diskettes in this set"
   by pressing ENTER.

6. The "Enter Destination Drive" prompt is given. (Either A or B will be
included in the prompt, depending on where your 3.5 inch diskette drive
is located. If the drive shown in the prompt is not the one you wish to
use, change the value by pressing either A or B. At this point, you can
optionally print a label (if your printer is attached) by pressing F9.

Press ENTER to accept the diskette drive letter. The same screen will
reappear. Press ENTER again to extract and decompress the diskette
   image.

7. The "Ready to copy diskette" prompt appears. It is asking for one
1.44 MB diskette. Verify that you have a formatted 1.44 MB diskette in
the appropriate disk drive and press ENTER to begin diskette creation.

IMPORTANT: Only a 1.44 MB diskette can be used, other types of media
           cannot be substituted.

8. A counter box will be displayed during creation showing status. The
number of cylinders will count up to 80.

9. Repeat from step 6 until all five diskettes have been created.

10. When QRST has completed, it will exit back to DOS.

At this point, the SSD 1.10 diskettes have been created and are ready to
use. Please read all information in the README.EFS file on the
documentation diskette before installing the SSD.

NOTE:	You can verify that you have valid SSD 1.10 diskettes by using
the UNIX sum -r command:

        sum -r /dev/fd0

The following sum values should be displayed:
